Free Online Weight Loss Seminar

At Foothills Weight Loss Surgeons in Knoxville, TN, we require all of our new patients to view and complete our free online informational seminar as the first step in our bariatric program. Participating in an info session is required by most insurance plans that cover bariatric surgery.

Viewing the seminar gives you a chance to learn all about weight loss surgery, and about your Bariatric Surgeon, Dr. Mark Colquitt. You’ll also learn about other members of the bariatric team such as a dietician, an exercise physiologist, and a psychologist. Many frequently asked questions like how much the procedure will cost, recovery time, and any insurance-related questions are answered during the seminar. More importantly, the seminar covers information detailing your surgical options.

To get started, you will need a computer and access to the internet. Then, you will complete the registration form at this link, and log in using a computer and Chrome, FireFox or Safari browser.

The seminar is 33 minutes long, and includes a quiz. After viewing the seminar, you will select the option to fill out our online New Patient Paperwork that includes both the Patient Demographics & Insurance Form and the Patient History Form.
