It's with unhappiness that we report that our fellow Council member John Rae handed away out of the blue on the afternoon of April 8^th in Toronto.

John was residing his finest life this previous week going to a music live performance, consuming out with mates and attending a labour convention.

Over his three many years with CCD, John held many necessary positions within the group, together with chairing the CCD Social Coverage Committee, serving on the Human Rights Committee and varied positions on the Govt Committee. Most not too long ago he represented CCD at aspect occasions of the World Incapacity Summit.

John’s far-reaching work within the incapacity rights motion is immeasurable and collectively we mourn his loss.
