‘SNL’ Mocks ABC’s Biased Presidential Debate in Cold Open: ‘No Surprise’ | Entertainment

Even the liberal writers of “Saturday Night Live” acknowledged that the ABC News presidential debate was “biased,” taking a swipe on the Disney-owned community in the present's season premiere. 

NBC's long-running sketch comedy present on Saturday started with solid member Andrew Dismukes showing as “World News Tonight” anchor and debate co-moderator David Muir in the chilly open. 

“I had hoped the takeaway of the debate I moderated would be my striking good looks, but unfortunately, it was whether or not I was biased towards the Democrats, which… duh,” Dismukes' Muir advised viewers, sparking laughs from the viewers.

ABC News didn't instantly reply to Fox News Digital's request for remark.

ABC News has confronted intense backlash for its hyperpartisan debate the place Muir and co-moderator Linsey Davis repeatedly fact-checked Trump and requested him way more pointed questions than Vice President Kamala Harris, who confronted zero hostility from the anchors.

Trump went on to allege that ABC News broke the “deal” they struck ahead of the debate. 

“Now you do not know this, however we had a cope with ABC that there will likely be no corrections of any variety, and so they violated the deal. Why? Because they're dangerous folks, and so they're pretend information,” Trump said. “So he did it many occasions to me through the debate. He violated the deal. That's the deal, as a result of you'll be able to take something and try to make up tales with it. We had a deal the place that would not occur. The former president also took a swipe Davis, who provided the first fact-check of the debate against him.
