“Of course, we don’t evaluate it,’’ he said. “We send it straight over to Birmingham homicide detectives.”
“We don’t know if they’re good tips or bad tips, we just know there are a lot of tips coming in and they’re getting their own tips too,’’ Copus said. “A lot of hours are being poured into this.”
“Hopefully there’s something in there that’s going to get this case solved,’’ he said. “We need to stop this circle of violence.”
