The Artist Formerly Known as Michael Keaton—or slightly, Michael Keaton Douglas—is anticipating a homecoming.
The Spider-Man performer not too long ago graced headlines when he expressed his need to transition from his performing pseudonym, that of Keaton, again to his authentic surname of Douglas. (Yes, like that Michael Douglas). Now, the 73-year-old is shedding gentle on the decision.
“I like my name,” he instructed E! News on the premiere of his new movie Goodrich, set for launch Oct. 18. He added of his present moniker, “Every time I say my name, I kind of go, ‘Fraud. It’s not your name.’”
