Could GTA 6 Face a Delay Until 2026? Former Rockstar Developer Suggests Studio May Not Decide Until May 2025 | Video Games

“The decision to delay GTA 4 was made four months or so before the original release date,” Vermeij stated. “Any further and it's hard to make the call. Rockstar is probably not in a position to determine whether they will hit 2025 until May-ish.”

Vermeij added that Rockstar might be conscious of GTA 6’s influence and its potential to make billions of {dollars} for years to come back, probably even over a decade. And so, the studio received’t rush the sport out to hit a launch date.
