Chloe Fineman has rather a lot to look ahead to on Saturday Night Live’s upcoming season!
On Monday, Sept. 23, PEOPLE caught up with Fineman at the premiere of her new sci-fi movie Megalopolis — co-starring Aubrey Plaza, Adam Driver and Grace VanderWaal — and the 36-year-old comic revealed that the SNL solid is again collectively at Studio 8H making ready for the upcoming fiftieth season, which Fineman teases will likely be filled with surprises.
“I'm excited,” she says. “We're going with a big bang for the 50th! Soon, I think our special guests for the political stuff will be announced.”
“I'm super stoked and yeah, it was like a good back to school vibe,” Fineman provides of getting again to work.

She and her SNL solid members have fairly a busy season forward, with a number of notable company already introduced together with Jean Smart, Jelly Roll, Nate Bargatze, Coldplay, Ariana Grande, Michael Keaton and Billie Eilish, amongst others. Though the actress has her sights set on working with some music legends in addition to burgeoning expertise.
“I mean, Stevie Nicks and Ariana Grande [as guests] is insane,” she tells PEOPLE.
“I definitely had a Chappell Roan summer, as we all did,” Fineman says. “So, I was like, I can't believe I might get to be in the same building and sing ‘Pink Pony Club,’ you know? So we'll see. Hopefully that will happen.”

Roan and Smart will likely be newcomers to the SNL stage. However, they gained’t be alone, as SNL introduced three new comedians can be becoming a member of the present: Emil Wakim, Ashley Padilla and Jane Wickline.
Last week, Fineman shared some perception and recommendation to individuals becoming a member of the present for the first time at the Through Her Lens: The Tribeca Chanel Women’s Filmmaker Program luncheon.
