CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) – Several college districts are closing and transitioning as Potential Tropical Cyclone 8 makes landfall this week on the southeast coast.

A tropical storm warning is now in impact from Edisto Beach northward into North Carolina with one to 3 inches of rain anticipated.
The following schedule adjustments are in impact:
Schools and Districts
- Charleston County School District: All faculties won't be closed on Monday, however will transition to an eLearning day for college students. Other extracurricular actions and after-school applications can be canceled.
- Learn4Life High School-Charleston, can be holding an eLearning day. Students can log in for their stay digital advisory courses at 8 a.m. and midday. Regular in-person studying will proceed Tuesday.
- Georgetown County School District: All faculties and amenities can be closed Monday.
- Live Oak Little School: The preschool will function as an eLearning day on Monday.
- Williamsburg County School District: All faculties and amenities can be closed on Monday. Staff are nonetheless anticipated to report back to work if they will
Daycare Centers
- Center Point Learning Center: The daycare middle will function as an eLearning Day on Monday.
- First African Evangelical Church Day Care: The daycare can be closed on Monday.
All faculties and college districts are anticipated to return to regular operations on Tuesday.
