Subsequent to the match, Ridley was questioned concerning the coaches' intention to get him extra targets early on in the game. However, the ball wasn't being directed his method till the fourth quarter, which he highlighted.

Preceding the week, Titans head coach Brian Callahan accepted blame for Ridley's lack of productiveness.
“I have to do a better job of discovering ways to get Calvin the ball,” Callahan told reporters. “I need to utilize his speed and explosiveness more. Just get it in his hands, every which way we can. That's on me to get him in those spots where he can get the ball more.”
Ridley's display against the Colts was the third consecutive game in which he amassed fewer than 10 yards receiving. In Week 3 against the Green Bay Packers, Ridley had 9 yards. Facing the Miami Dolphins in Week 4, he managed 5 yards. In every match, he nabbed only one pass on three targets.
The eight targets on Sunday were actually the most Ridley has obtained all season, exceeding the seven he witnessed in Week 1. Over the season, he has nine catches (on a team-leading 19 targets) for 141 yards and one touchdown.
That can't be the output that the Titans envisioned when they inked him to a four-year, $92 million free-agent agreement in the offseason. Ridley seemed to be the team's top receiver next to DeAndre Hopkins and Tyler Boyd.
Ridley's challenges might indicate an overarching issue with the Titans. No receiver has more than 10 receptions. Running back Tony Pollard is at the forefront with 13 catches.
Sunday's defeat dropped the Titans to 1–4, placing them a half-game ahead of the Jacksonville Jaguars (1–5) for third place in the AFC South.
