Co-host Ana Kasparian of “The Young Turks” defined her determination to depart the Democratic Party whereas showing on Jillian Michaels' “Keeping It Real” podcast on Monday.

The progressive media host mentioned feeling “politically homeless” lately, noticing an intolerance for dialogue and change of concepts, in addition to a promotion of lenient-on-crime insurance policies by the left that she seen as dangerous to society.

“That was an awakening moment for me,” Kasparian said. “Many of the people I associated with because I believed they were good individuals…they indeed possess preconceived notions and are oblivious to their biases while accusing others of malevolence when they need to introspect.”

Kasparian additionally expressed dissent in direction of the defeatist mindset exhibited in direction of ethnic minorities.

“Last year, I was struck by the contrast between my upbringing and the values preached by the Democratic Party,” Kasparian remarked.

“It's merely performative activism. It's repugnant,” Michaels concurred.

“We should celebrate individuals striving for self-improvement and enhancing their lives,” Kasparian later articulated in a dialogue in regards to the radical “fat-acceptance” motion.

“Instead, the prevalent narrative suggests, ‘you are perfect as you are, no need for change,' even if such complacency leads to self-harm. It defies logic,” she continued.
